The Full Monty Wollongong Workshop Theatre title graphic

In 1997, a BAFTA award-winning British film about six out of work steelworkers with nothing to lose took the world by storm. And now they're back! Simon Beaufoy, the Oscar-winning writer of film, has now gone back to where it all started with a play about the men, the women, the heartache and the hilarity of a city on the dole.

This production of The Full Monty brings a new spin to the classic story of self-discovery, friendship, and the power of determination. Where do you turn when AI and other new technologies threaten the work that is your livelihood, your identity and your future?

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes including intermission

Content: Adult themes including suicide, strong language, nudity

Please note: This production is the play version of The Full Monty, not the musical.

Tickets

Adult $30 | Concession $25

Wollongong Workshop Theatre (WWT) is the longest running community theatre group in Wollongong. We produce several shows each year, all of which provide our local community with access to the world of theatre production on stage and behind the scenes.

WWT is located on Dharawal Country. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional owners of the lands on which we perform and throughout Australia, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
