THE CRUCIBLE

BY ARTHUR MILLER
DIRECTED BY FEARGUS MANNING
OCTOBER 14 - 29, 2022

The cast of The Crucible by Arthur Miller at Wollongong Workshop Theatre

Winner of the 1953 Tony Award for Best Play. This exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society.

"I was fortunate enough to see the WWT's production of The Crucible. They produced a polished and highly engaging piece of theatre. It's wonderful to see that theatre is alive and well in the Illawarra. Congrats to all involved."

"Congratulations to director Feargus Manning, brilliant cast and crew on a truly superb production of ‘The Crucible’. I will be haunted by this stunning piece of theatre for a very long time."

Wollongong Workshop Theatre (WWT) is the longest running community theatre group in Wollongong. We produce several shows each year, all of which provide our local community with access to the world of theatre production on stage and behind the scenes.

WWT is located on Dharawal Country. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional owners of the lands on which we perform and throughout Australia, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
